One Campus

We are excited to announce that Rockford Christian School is taking a historic first step in our long-term plan of uniting our one school on one campus.
As early as the start of the 2026-2027 school year, all students ages three through 12th grade will be at the Bell School Road campus. Over the next year we will renovate the Upper School building to accommodate every grade level with age- and developmentally-appropriate spaces.
Why are we moving to one campus and why now?
Our Strategic Plan goals include strengthening our finances, facilities, programs and student experience. One objective was to address our growing facilities needs and create consistent student, faculty, and parent experiences across all departments in the school.
Moving the Lower School was part of our long-term plan because we have always wanted all of RCS to be on one campus to provide greater spiritual and educational alignment and accelerate our mission.
We learned through the space utilization audit in our Strategic Planning process that our current Upper School building has enough space for all our students without requiring additional square footage, though renovations would be needed. Read more here.
Rockford Christian is an independent, private school offering college-preparatory education through a biblical worldview for students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.
