Regional Bible Conference

Good Afternoon Colleagues,

My name is Peter Held and I am the High School Principal at Rockford Christian Schools in Rockford, IL. On behalf of our school, we would like to invite your Bible teachers to join us on November 1st for a full day conference specifically designed for Bible teachers at Christian schools.

A number of years ago, our Bible department identified a need for Christian school Bible teachers to have access to professional development that provides educational strategies and theory. All too often, Bible teachers are highly trained in scripture and theology, but may not have received as much training in classroom pedagogy. To address this need, we hosted the first Northern Illinois Regional Bible Teacher’s Conference in 2017, The success of this event has allowed this conference to continue in subsequent years and now we are happy to invite you to this year’s event.

In an effort to further address challenges unique to Christian school Bible teachers, the theme for this 2019 conference is: "Teaching to Head and Heart: Can a Christian school Bible teacher challenge the mind while engaging the heart?" Please see further details in the attached invitation. Note: ACSI CEU credit will be available through this event.
