 Welcome to Rockford Christian Athletics! I hope that you enjoy learning more about our school and athletic program on our site.
The purpose of the Rockford Christian athletic program is to minister the word of God to our student-athletes through athletics and witness to others in our community in their walk with Christ.
Rockford Christian Athletics provides a wide array of athletic opportunities for students’ grades K-12. The high school competes in 18 interscholastic sports through 25 varsity and sub-varsity teams. Our middle school programs include 15 team sports and at the primary/intermediate level we offer 21 team sports.
During this time, we have witnessed many students excel both in the classroom and in the athletic arena. More importantly, we have seen them graduate and take their commitments to Christ in the communities in which they study, live and work. The dedicated staff and coaches of Rockford Christian School truly believe that we are an integral part of this outcome.
Rockford Christian Athletics continues to focus on developing important personal attributes such as leadership, teamwork, responsibility, attitude, good sportsmanship, respect, humility and spiritual growth. Student-athletes endure rigorous athletic training while maintaining commendable grades in a challenging academic environment, and develop discipline, motivation, and self-esteem. Striving to win and obtaining personal academic excellence go hand-in-hand. Our hope and prayer is that the athletic department will continue to be used as a tool to ensure that all athletes have the opportunity to obtain that which is eternal through a personal relationship with Christ.
