This fall Rockford Christian's elementary and middle school science students will participate in their first Lego League Team. The theme this year is Climate Connections. Regional competition will be held in the RCHS gymnasium on December 6th. Plan on joining us that day.

Higher Ground (HG) is a pull-out program for students identified as gifted. HG is offered to students who qualify in grades three through six.

Each week the students gather for chapel. It's one hour a week where kids are given the opportunity to worship and sing and hear about God's goodness. Guest speaker from churches all over town and even outside are a regular occurance at our chapels.

is a special week once a year where we emphasize our students spiritual growth and development in Christ. The week is highlighted by two a days. That's two chapels each day with guest speakers that come in from all over the country to share with the kids what they need to know to grow and develop their walk with Christ. The week is also highlighted with fun games and activities that develop teamwork and camaraderie.

Rockford Christian students rank well above the national percentile in every learning discipline. Our students also score, on the average, two to three grade levels above the national norms

is another fun-filled event where we turn our gymnasium into a science display center and invite everyone in to see how the kids are learning about cool scientific concepts like mechanics, forces and pressures to name a few. is a triathalon style fund raiser to benefit the general fund of the school while showing off the reading ability of our students. Rockford Christian students consistently maintain some of the highest verbal test scores of any school in the area. The event is comprised of reading, reasoning and problem solving challenges as well as running events that all add up to score points toward prizes and awards that the kids get to keep. We're planning on it being a fun time for all.
