Key Club

Key Club

Key Club is a community service club. It is the high school division of Kiwanis International. Rockford Christian’s sponsoring Kiwanis Club is Rock Valley Heritage Kiwanis. Key Club students sign up to volunteer monthly in the community. Students are placed in service groups for the year that serve at the same location and time every month. Students may also join an additional group or serve extra hours at a one time event. Key Club students are also required to come to club meetings held at the school.

Key Club is also a student leadership organization, seeking to train young people in community leadership and civic involvement. A Board of Officers is elected every year to maintain the functioning of the club and provide new ideas and direction for service activities and club events.

Key Club is open to any student grades 9-12. The cost for membership is $40, which covers a Key Club T shirt and yearly dues paid to Kiwanis International.
