7th/8th Grade Art: 1 semester class
The focus of these courses is to honor God by creating artwork using our hands, head and heart. We will begin with the fundamentals of art, which include the elements and principles of design. Students will develop creativity and technical skills through both 2-D and 3-D projects in several media. They will also grow in art appreciation through exposure to art history and God’s creation. The students’ strongest pieces will be displayed at the end of each semester, when we celebrate with a Fine Arts Festival.
